An easy Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Fudge recipe just like grandma used to make. Only 3 ingredients and so delicious, perfect for sharing with friends!
When I was a very small child my great grandmother lived with us for a few years. She used to make some of the most magical recipes, one recipe that has always been a family favorite is her Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Fudge. I can’t tell you how many times I have had this treat, it is so simple and delicious (and sometimes temperamental too).
I am not kidding about that last one either, I remember being taught this recipe in my teenage years and the advice to not attempt it during that special time of the month. Whether her advice can be considered an old wives tale or if it’s the harsh humidity of Florida at play, all I can tell you is her advice was good. In the many years I have been making and enjoying this Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Fudge I have had my fair share of fails, but I know how delicious it really is so I have never let it discourage me too much.
We always made this old fashioned peanut butter fudge in the same green Jadeite pie pan when I was a kid, I loved that pan. For years I would tell my mom that one day the pie pan would be mine and finally a couple of years ago my dream came true. All thanks to my dad for bringing it to me on one of his visits! I love fudge, as you may or may not already know and this old fashioned peanut butter fudge is the reason for my addiction. It is sweet, creamy and filled with delicious peanut butter flavor; I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as my family and I do!
